Boyd Regeltechnik

Control technology for heating, ventilation and process plant — with a companion app that puts every connected unit, setpoint and alarm in the technician's hand.

  • Remote access
  • Alarm push
  • Multi-site

What the companion app does on a Boyd system

Live unit status

Sensor values, actuator positions, operating mode and run hours read straight from each connected controller — in the plant room or three towns away from it.

Setpoints and schedules

Change flow temperature, fan stages, night setback and holiday calendars without a laptop or a service terminal. Every change is written against the user who made it.

Faults and alarms as they latch

The alarm arrives when the controller raises it, carrying point name, priority and the time it went active — so the first thing you know is whether it needs a van tonight.

Device diagnostics

Bus health, I/O point list, firmware revision and last-communication timestamp per device. You find out what is dead before you decide what to load in the van.

Settings sync and trend history

Push a verified parameter set from one plant room across the rest of the estate, and pull historical values back as a plot when somebody asks why the building was cold on Tuesday.

What you can ask us for by name

Scoping happens on your plant list and your controller types, not on a package number.

Most asked for

Remote access setup

Getting existing Boyd controllers reachable from the app without reworking the panel.

  • Controller inventory and firmware check
  • Gateway and network arrangement
  • User roles for technicians and operators
  • Alarm routing per site

Commissioning and handover

New plant brought from wired-up to running, with the control strategy documented.

  • I/O point-to-point testing
  • Loop tuning and setpoint schedule
  • As-commissioned parameter record
  • Operator walkthrough on site

Multi-site rollout

One verified parameter set taken across an estate, controller by controller.

  • Baseline configuration agreed first
  • Staged push with rollback point
  • Per-site deviation list
  • Single alarm view across sites

Service and fault support

For operators who want the alarm looked at before they decide to call anyone out.

  • Remote first-line diagnosis
  • Trend review after a fault
  • Spares and firmware advice
  • Attendance when remote cannot fix it

Scope and quotation are issued in writing after we have seen your controller list and network arrangement.

Tell us what plant you are running

Controller make, how many sites, and what you want to reach from the app. That is enough to start.

  • A controls engineer reads the enquiry — not a call centre.
  • We come back with questions about your plant before any figure.
  • Scoping remote access does not need a site visit first.
